Shadowfox Siberians started in 1984 with a red and white, blue eyed pet Siberian named Mika's Ice on Fire. Up until that time, the staple dog of the McMillan household was a German Sheherd. Lisa and Barb took Mika to some shows, but soon decided that they needed a better dog in order to be more competitive. They acquired a 2 year old Siberian bitch named Japego's Arctic Tornado, "Tori", and Shadowfox Siberians was born.

Soon they would hear the pitter patter of puppy feet, as Tori became the foundation bitch for Shadowfox Siberians. Tori's son Dimitri was the first Siberian to attain the AKC Championship for Lisa and Barb.Tori soon followed. Ten years later, Lisa and Barb acquired a black and white male from Kristari Siberians, that was described as having "A Presence".

It wasn't long before the presence of Ch Kristari's Jagged Edge was known both in the show ring, as well as in the whelping box. "Jag" has multiple group placements to his credit, as well as multiple Best in Specialty Show wins, which ranked him as a top Siberian for several years. His offspring are following in his pawprints, with several receiving Best of Breed wins from the classes.

Jag and Tori's legacies continue to live on at Shadowfox through their decendents. The combination of these two lines is proving to be a winning formula at Shadowfox. Shadowfox continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the show ring, whether the dogs are bred at Shadowfox, or acquired from an outside breeder.

Puppies are available ocassionally. A litter is born at Shadowfox once every 2 or 3 years.
